Despite Karl’s serious subject matter in some of his books, his presentation style is humorous and highly engaging.  With deep expertise in public high school education in history and creative writing, he has a heart for children.  As a Green Beret veteran and son of a veteran, he has a first hand perspective to VA and military groups.
